Meet Keta, the Outsider Behind Ourside
Rooted in the islands. Raised in the midwest. Reborn in the big apple.
As the daughter of a Jamaican mother and American father, I was the girl who never fit in.
I was different. I was multilayered. I was never _____ enough for anyone.
Comprised of so many sides that I felt like an outsider, I came up with new ways to escape. First through figure skating. Then through reading.
And finally, through fragrance.
Scent is a language that everyone can understand. But few have the opportunity to speak. Ourside is our voice.
I created Ourside to change that. I am not an industry insider. I am not a renowned perfumer.I am an outsider inspired by countless other outsiders.
